Children from all across the world love stories, they enjoy listening to them and telling them. Now with 1:1 devices in classrooms increasing technology access in the hands of students, why not integrate content, curriculum and great story-telling? Here are several apps and sites that allow you to best integrate this into your story-telling projects.
Digital storytelling/Desktop Publishing & Animation
Digital storytelling, animation and Desktop Publishing incorporate a variety of digital media tools, while allowing students to tell a story or report on something they learned about. When students take in content and make it their own through telling a story, they obtain a deeper level of cognition. Students tell stories through video, audio, animation and or create publications for news and social media. Many of the digital images they create in the lessons above can be used in these lessons, as they can be shared media.
